Yunnan-Vietnam Railway and the Changes of Social Ideas in Yunnan from 1910 to 1949

伴随1910年滇越铁路的建成通车,西方的世界观、价值观、伦理观随有形的商品、设备、交通工具、人员和无形的文字、语言、宗教传入,是导致近代云南经济社会、思想文化、风尚习俗、宗教伦理变迁的主要核心因素,显著影响了滇人的求学观、地理观、价值观、就医观、就业观,对政治变革和社会变革具有正向的推动作用。

Since Yunnan-Vietnam Railway went into operation in 1910, the introduction of Western world-outlook, values and ethics together with tangible commodities, facilities, transport vehicles and Westerners as well as religions, writings and languages was the core factor that resulted in changes in Yunnan＇s economy, society, culture, customs, religions and ethics as well as Yunnan people＇s concepts in almost all fields in late modern times, which exerted a positive influence on the political and social reforms in Yunnan.
