1.CCL is a monthly journal,launched by the Chinese Chemical Society.CCL will publish preliminary accounts in the whole field of chemistry,satisfying a real and urgent need for the dissemination of research results,especially hot topics.In a way,it has become a show window of important chemical literature of China.For this purpose,articles in CCL are only written in English. 2.CCL does not accept articles previously published or scheduled to be published.After publication of the communica- tion in CCL,it can be expanded to a full paper and published elsewhere. 3.Authors are requested to send papers of 2-4 pages.Papers of more than 4 pages are not acceptable.The manu- script is to be reproduced photographically;it should be typed on good quality paper,preferably with a laser printer. 4.The tvping area of each page(except for the first page)should be 4.98 inch wide and 8.00 inchdeep.Formula,ta-
