The principle and characteristics of corrosion inhibition technology is presented and its application development in medicine, fertilizer, pesticide, corrosion inhibitor, water treatment as well as aromatic medicament is discussed in this paper. The classification, properties and application status quo of water treatment corrosion inhibitor is reviewed followed by the introduction of type and development of inhibitor used for industry recycling water of petrochemical enterprises.
