摘要
《德伯家的苔丝》塑造了一位为追求自由,平等而愤然反抗的女性形象。对于苔丝的悲剧命运从社会和个人角度进行分析,揭示悲剧产生的各种因素,但这些因素都与当时社会有着直接的联系,是苔丝的悲剧必然性根源。
Hardy creates a female character—— Tess—— who fights for obtaining freedom and equality in Tess of the D＇ Urbervilles. The following essay shows all kinds of factors causing the tragedy of Tess by analyzing the aspects of society and individuals. But these factors are connected with the capitalist society . They are all kinds of reflections of the capitalist society. The necessity of the tragedy of Tess comes from them.
