Taking the pre-fabrication and installation of the steel box girders of a cloverleaf crossing in Xi＇an as project case, the paper presents the segment partition, assembling and welding, trial assembling and in-situ installation of the steel box girders. Furthermore, the paper recommends some countermeasures for the critical construction processes and unusual cases.
