On the basis of an introduction and analysis of the combined application of multiple modem marine charting and communication techniques to the surveying works for the dredging of waterways for Tianjin Port, new surveying techniques and methods are proposed, which proved that the new surveying techniques, equipment and methods can effectively ensure the accuracy of measurement of waterway dredging, realize the real-time transmission of measured data, and improve the efficiency of dredging works.
