摘要
通过访谈(interviews)以及应用美国语言学家Oxford所设计的语言学习策略分类问卷调查表(SILL)对广州医学院的6位优秀语言学习者进行了研究,结果发现,6位优秀语言学习者积极使用了各项语言学习策论,特别是元认知策略和补偿策略;6位优秀语言学习者在英语听说读写方面的发展并不平衡,他们在听力和阅读方面比较强,在口语和写作方面相对较弱;我们也发现开辟第二课堂的教学以及加强课堂教学对学生同等重要;在大学英语教学阶段,教学的重点应该放在语言的交际功能上,但不应忽略词汇的学习。
In this research project six good language learners from Guangzhou Medical College were studied by means of interviews and SILL designed by Oxford, an American applied linguist. The results showed that the six good language learners made frequent use of all the six categories of language learning strategies, metacognitive strategies and compensation strategies in particular. The six good language learners were better at listening and reading than at speaking and writing. We also found that classroom language teaching and extracurricular activities were equally important and that the communicative function of language should be emphasized without neglecting the mastery of vocabulary.
