摘要
阳江市地处粤西沿海，是广东省渔业生产基地之一，发展海洋经济具有十分优越的条件。目前总体正处于从粗放型向集约型过渡阶段，已初步跳出单纯的海洋捕捞及粗放型的养殖圈子，正向新的海洋经济领域，包括远洋渔业海洋生物技术和海滨旅游业领域迈进。
Yangjiang Municipality is located in the Yuexi coast and is one of the fish eries production bases in Guangdong Province and has very advantageous conditions for the development of sea economy. At present, general situation is in the stage of transition from extensive type to intensive type, but the Municipality has preliminarily jumped out of the cir cle of pure sea fishing and extensive aquaculture and set out to advance towards the new fields of marine economy including ocean fishing industry, marine biology technologies and beach tourism.
