Probe into the Effectiveness of Ideological and Political Education of Undergraduates

加强和改进大学生思想政治教育,是为了培养德、智、体、美全面发展的社会主义合格建设者和可靠接班人,同时也是在为构建社会主义和谐社会培养性情纯真、心灵和善、人格完美的优秀公民。大学生思想政治教育是一个塑造灵魂、提升境界的精神实践过程。有效推进这个过程,应该以“以人为本”为前提,晓之以“理”为基础,动之以情为路径,才能实现其导善向美的终极目标。

The aim of enhancing and improving the ideological and political education of undergraduates is to cultivate eligible and reliable socialistic successors with all-round developing of morality, wisdom and health, construct a harmonious socialism and cultivate qualified citizens with refined mind, personality and character. The ideological and political education of undergraduates is a practical process of fostering soul and improving thought. In order to put it into practice effectively, ‘people-oriented’ is the precondition, ‘truth’ is the essence, and ‘sensibility’ is the approach to achieving the final aim of being good and perfect.
