Derived is the formula of bending deflection and stress and compared and discussed are the loading stress calculation formulas in NACE TM0177 and GT/T 15970.5.Test is made on stress and loading bending deflection of the C-type ring.Compared are the calculated stress value and real stress value.Analyzed and discussed are the loading stress errors,application scope of the above mentioned 2 standards are determined further and a method is recommended for reasonably loading test pieces.
