张爱玲的小说有一种孤独意识。这种孤独表现在人物灵魂的无所依托,他们寻求不到和谐与爱。弗洛姆认为,人只有通过爱才能从根本上摆脱孤独状态。形成她的这种文学个性的原因有两点:一是童年的独特经历,未曾得到充分的父母的爱,二是特定时期上海的独特文化。
