Desigmed by FoxBase+2.1, the functions of the managing system of insect specimen database and the ways to accomplish these functions are reported in this paper. All the functions of the system can be shown in a menu, including six functions to input or modify data, five inquirement functions, four statistics functions, five functions of printing name list and laber. six functions of system tools, two functions of document search.
