籼型水稻新品种大粒香12号的选育

Breeding of Dalixiang 12 ——A New Variety of Indica Rice

云南农业大学农业科学技术学院生物技术系１９８２年用密阳２３、毫双７号作亲本杂交选育而成的籼型香米水稻新品种大粒香１２号，经多年多点试验示范表明，该品种具有高产、优质、多抗、适应广等特点．适宜在海拔１３００～１６００ｍ的边疆山区和低热河谷区种植．近年先后在云南南部示范推广２００００ｈｍ２，均比当地主栽老品种增产３４．６％～５８．９％．

A new,fragrant variety--Dalixiang 12 was bred through cross between Miyang 23 and Haoshuang 7 by Department of Biotechnology,Faculty of Agriculture Science and Technology, Yunnan Agricultural University in 1982 . Since then the multipoint demonstration experiment had been conducted for many years, Results indicated that Dalixiang 12 was of high yield, good quality, resistance against diseases and wide adaptiveness and suitable to grow in the area of Yunnan border, warm and low valley with 1300～1600m altitude. It had been grown more than 20000 hm 2 from 1982～1995. The yield was 34.6%～58.9% higher than local major variety.
