新课标背景下的英语课堂教学要提倡创新教育。教师要巧设发散性的问题情景,激活学生的创新思维;设计探究性的课堂活动,培养学生的创新能力;恰当运用多媒体教学,优化学生的创新意识;引导学生积极动手参与,展示学生的创新能力。

According to the new course standard, creative teaching in ELT should be advocated so as to cultivate the students＇ creative thinkeing and spirits. As English teachers, who conduct the creative teaching, we play an important role in combining ELT with creativity. Thus, every student＇s potential of creativity can be ultimately developed.
