摘要 目的探讨WHOI级脑膜瘤中血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)表达程度与脑侵袭的相关性。方法对30例WHOI级脑膜瘤进行瘤体及受累脑组织病理学和VEGF染色对比研究。结果在30例标本中存在肿瘤脑浸润者10例,其中VEGF(++)7例,(+)2例,(-)1例;另外20例无肿瘤脑侵袭,其中VEGF(++)2例,(+)11例,(-)7例。两者比较,VEGF阳性和强阳性表达率相差显著(P<0.01)。VEGF在肿瘤向脑组织浸润最明显处表达最强。结论在Ⅰ级脑膜瘤中VEGF的表达在肿瘤脑侵袭行为中可能发挥着重要作用。 Objective To study the correlation between the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and the invasive behavior in grade Ⅰ meningiomas (WHO). Methods The expression of VEGF was determined by immunohistocbemical technique and the hestopathologcial examination was carried out in 30 cases with meningiomas and the brain tissues adjacent to them. Results Of 30 cases of meningiomas, 10 invaded the cerebral tissues adjacent to the tumors and 20 did not. In 10 cases of invasive meningiomas, there was strongly .positive expression of VEGF in 7 cases, positive in 2 and negative in 1. In 20 cases of noninvasive meningiomas, there was strongly positive expression of VEGF in 2 cases, positive in 11 and negative in 7. There were significant differences in the positive and strongly positive rates of VEGF expression between the invasive and noninvasive meningiomas (P〈0.01). There was strongest expression of VEGF in the meningiomas regions with the most evident invasion of the cerebral tissues. VEGF expression in the meningiomas were positively related with their invasive behaviors (P〈0.01). Conclusion It is suggested that the expression of VEGF may play an important role in the invasive behavior of grade Ⅰ meningiomas.
