Cataract surgery is not a simple procedure. Both proper evaluation of preoperation and communication with patients are very important steps to attain success of the surgery. The preoperative evaluation includes indication of the surgery, methods to prevent the occurrence of surgical complications, individual selection of intraocular lens, and so on.
