摘要
目的:应用16层螺旋CT多方位(MPR)重建技术,分析评估正常阑尾在多层螺旋CT的显示率及其形态表现。材料和方法:随机选择89例无阑尾手术史,因为腹部病变等而行16层螺旋CT平扫的患者作回顾性正常阑尾分析。在AW4.1工作站采用层厚1.25mm作多方位图像重建。结果:89例患者,CT图像显示阑尾84例。正常阑尾显示的敏感性为94%。正常阑尾平均直径为(5.5±1.1)mm(3-10mm),直径超过6mm者为16例,占19%。结论:应用多层螺旋CT平扫,利用多方位重建,可满意地显示大部分阑尾的全貌。正常阑尾的直径为3-10mm,因此将阑尾直径≥6mm作为诊断阑尾炎的标准时,必须结合阑尾炎的其他CT征象,否则可能会出现假阳性结果。
Purpose: To evaluate the visualization rate and describe the morphologic pattern of the normal appendix on multidetector CT (MDCT) by using multiplanar reformation(MPR)display. Materials and Methods: We conducted a retrospective evaluation of the normal appendix with non- enhanced MDCT in 89 consecutive patients. The images were reconstructed in 1.25mm thickness by multiplanar reformation. Results: The appendix was definitely visualized in 84 of 89 patients who denied a history of appendectomy. The sensitivity of visualization of the normal appendix by MDCT was 94% .The mean outer diameter of the appendix was 5.5 ± 1.1 mm(SD) (range: 3.0- 10.0 mm). Conclusion: Our study showed a high visualization rate (94%) of normal appendices on MDCT by multiplanar reformation display. The range of 3.0 - 10.0 mm overlaps the standard value of 6.0 nun which was used to diagnose appendicitis on CT.
