非编码RNA:比较近缘物种及寻找雄性功能基因

摘要 非编码RNA是近来发现的一类具有重要功能的基因.本文针对“果蝇近缘物种间性腺特异ncRNA表达图谱存在显著差异”一文,讨论其涉及的内容对ncRNA研究领域发展的意义.该文采用比较基因组分析与基因间区RT-PCR相结合的简便而有效的非编码RNA检测手段,在黑腹果蝇中鉴定出12个性腺特异性表达的非编码RNA基因,并发现他们在黑腹果蝇及其近缘种间的表达存在差异.这一结论一方面暗示了同一个非编码RNA基因在物种进化过程中演化出了各自的表达调控机制,另一方面也为性别发育生物学和进化生物学研究提供了一个有价值的ncRNA基因的研究平台.
