摘要
提出了一种新的基于子波变换的高质量音频压缩编码方案.从理论上分析了子波变换用于音频压缩编码的有效性,给出了新的压缩编码方案,讨论了实现中的一些具体问题并给出了实验结果.实验主观听觉效果良好并可将音频信号压缩到平均每样值0.8bit,总的码率压缩比约为8.8∶1.
A new low bit rate high quality audio coding system using adapted wavelet transform was put forward. The advantages of wavelets used for the purpose of audio compression are analyzed, and the new coding system is illustrated. Some practical problems in implementation are discussed and experimental results are given. Experimental results exhibit good subjective quality and an average bit per sample of 0.8 can be achieved. The compression ratio is about 8.8∶1.
