基于信息融合的指纹细节特征提取

摘要 为了准确提取指纹特征信息,提出一种基于Gabor滤波器和小波分忻相结合的指纹特征信息提取方法。该方法分别利用Gabor滤波器和小波分析对原始指纹图像进行预处理,并提取特征点,取两种不同方法提取的特征点集的交集作为真实特征点,以此减少甚至消除伪特征点。实验结果表明了本方法能正确提取指纹特征信息。 To extract the minutiae accurately, a combined approach with Gabor filter and wavelet is proposed. This method uses Gabor filter and wavelet analysis for preprocessing the original fingerprints image to extract two sets of minutiae respectively, and then takes the intersection of the two sets of minutiae as the final set of minutiae to reduce, or even eliminate the false minutiae.
