本文通过对形合意合概念及其英文译法的考察梳理,指明了形合意合的不同含义和所应该对应的英文译语。通过英文译语的选择也完成了对形合意合不同含义的界定。

This paper is intended to summarize the definitions of hypotaxis and parataxis and these two concepts＇ other corresponding English translations. This paper proposes that different translated terms should correspond with different definitions of the concepts and the selection of the translated terms is another way to define these two concepts.
