摘要
T接线器是程控交换机中的核心部件。本文采用先进的电子设计自动化(EDA)方法和现场可编程门阵列(FPGA)实现手段,设计并实现了一种具有收敛体系结构的新颖T接线器。所实现的T接线器实用性强,具有结构简单、低功耗、低成本。
In P.R. China′s highspeed development of telecommunication, every possible cost reduction is important. We now present our development of a relatively inexpensive but quite reliable Tswitch XS93 to make madeinChina PBX possible. Besides, our Tswitch XS93 has such a novel architecture that we can reduce its complexity, cost, and power consumption, and can also enhance its reliability, without degrading its real performance. Fig.1 shows the architecture of Tswitch XS93. The novelty is essentially that only 32 users out of a total of 256 are expected to utilize Tswich XS93 at any one time. Obviously, ASIC (applicationspecific integrated circuit) chip′s unused capacity can be utilized to perform some of the tasks originally visualized to be done by commonly available chips. Thus complexity and cost are ruduced. With the aid of EAD (electronic design automation) tools, we use top-down design methodology to describe and synthesize XS93. The implementation of Tswitch XS93 has made it possible to have a PBX to be completely make in China; of course, some of its parts were still imported. The PBX made by Eastern Telecommunication Corp. in Wei Fang, Shandong province, sells well on the Chinese telecommunication market.
