According to the theory of effectiveness models and effectiveness analyses on military equipment, the feasibility of determining the tactical and technical index of military equipment analyses based on the effectiveness model is inquired. Applications of the effectiveness model in setting the tactical and technical index on military equipment are investigated, which can raise the level of demonstration of military equipment as well as its reliahility of results. The new ideas and methods for determining the tactical and technical index of military equipment are put forth, the described work may be of value to the development of military equipment projects.
