Exploration and Promotion of Integrated Pest Management Techniques for Chilo Suppressalis

综述了益阳市水稻二化螟发生危害逐年加重的根本原因、综合治理技术的研究及对配套技术的推广应用。二化螟的综合治理大大改善了农田生态环境,降低了农药残留,提高了稻米品质,经济效益、社会效益、生态效益十分显著。

This paper summerized the main reasons for increasingly heavier infestation of Chilo suppressalis （Walker） in Yiyang City, introduced the Integrated Pest Management（IPM） techniques developed for control of Chilo suppressalis （Walker） and summarized the results of promotion of the IPM techniques It was shown that IPM techniques greatly improved the farmland ecological environment, reduced pesticide residues, and improved the paddy rice quality. Therefore, the economic efficiency, socialefficiency, and the ecology benefits ofrice production were obviously enhanced.
