A Study on the Sustainable Development of Non-wood Pulp and Paper Industry in China

介绍了世界银行国际金融公司的中国非木材制浆造纸可持续发展研究项目的背景、目的、研究方法、研究结果以及对中国非木材制浆造纸产业发展的建议和意见;评估了3种制浆新技术(Chempolis,Conox和FreeFiber),并在产品质量、投资和生产成本等方面把这些新技术与现行的烧碱法进行了比较。研究结果表明,在中国生产非木材商品浆是可行的,改进生产技术以达到环保要求并提高经济效益非常重要。

The article is a brief summary of the IFC project in China： Technical Ass/stance for the Sustainable Development of the Non-wood Pulp and Paper Industry. The background, purpose, study methods, and the research findings and suggestions on the sustainable development for China＇ s non-wood pulp and paper industry are introduced. Meanwhile, the article briefly evaluates three new pulping technologies： Chempolis, Conox and FreeFiber, and also compares these three new technologies with modern soda technology in terms of pulp qualities, investments and production costs. The study finds out that it is feasible to develop non-wood market pulp in China. However, the improvement of technology is very critical so as to meet the requirements of environmental protection and to obtain the economical efficiency.
