A Study of the English and the Chinese Grammar from the Western and Chinese Perspectives of Thinking

思维是语言的思想内容，语言是思维的物质外壳。思维和语言具有民族性，两者间存在着一定的对应关系，不同民族的思维特点影响着语言遣词造句的规则。语法是用词造句的规则，反映着人类思维的逻辑规律，具有共同性与民族性。从中西思维角度审视英汉语法规则的异同，分析英汉民族思维与语法的关系，有助于帮助改变语法传统的学习方法，力求实现语言表达的准确性、逻辑性与严谨性。

Thinking and language are closely related and both have their traits of ethnicity. Different thinking modes produce different linguistic rules. Grammar is a set of rules for language use, which reflects the logic thinking of mankind and its homogeneity and ethnicity. A study of the English and the Chinese grammar from the Western and Chinese perspectives of thinking can shed light on the relationship between thinking and grammar, help improve the learning of grammar and the correct use of the language.
