摘要 核基质结合区(Matrix attachment regions,MARs)是真核细胞染色质中能与核基质结合的DNA序列,因其可以提高外源基因的表达水平和稳定性、降低外源基因在不同株系间的表达差异而越来越受到研究者的关注。文章对MAR的特征及其在转基因植物中的研究和应用进行了阐述。 Matrix attachment regions (MARs) are operationally defined as DNA elements that bind specifically to the nuclear matrix in vivo, which have recently attracted much attention because of their perceived capacity to enhance transgene expression level and to reduce variation of transgene expression in transgenic plant. We reviewed the characteristics of MARs and the investigation and application in transgenic plant.
