Development of Urban Green-land Ecosystem in Xuzhou City

坚持以科学发展观为指导,以打造生态城市为战略取向,以改革创新为内在动力,狠抓网络,完善山区,突破三产,全面构筑“绿色生态网络,绿色生态产业和绿色森林文化”为中心的“绿色生态徐州”。为此,必须强化组织领导,建立征占用城市绿地生态系统用地审批前公告、人民代表和市民听证制度和长效财政投入机制,加强资源保护,强化科技支撑。

Urban green-land ecosystem is an important component of urban infrastructure and it is essential for the living conditions for human in the city environment. The development of urban green-land ecosystem in Xuzhou requires strengthening the organization and the leadership and establishing a mechanism of public announcement, public hearing by peoples＇ representatives and urban residents, and long-term financial investment for uses of urban green-land, in order to strengthen the protection of natural resources and to intensify technological support. The paper also discusses the goal of urban green-land ecosystem development in Xuzhou, to build up a green and ecological city through improving vegetation cover in mountainous areas and developing green forest networks, ecological industries and green forest culture.
