Wang Xijie has made a great contribution to the theoretical construction and development of Chinese rhetoric. His research into rhetoric is greatly different from the general at surpassing exposition and paying more attention to the original work. It has three distinct features： a strong sense of problem, a spirit of scientific criticism and special innovative thinking. We can borrow valuable ideas from the rhetoric research thought of Wang Xijie to promote and deepen our theoretical construction of rhetoric.
