王希杰在修辞研究中始终如一地坚守着“同义手段”说这块阵地,对“同义手段”理论的研究大约经历了三个阶段:积累形成期;发展成熟期,延伸扩展期。

In rhetorical research, Wang Xijie has constantly held fast to the theory of synonymous media, regarding which, his research goes through three phases： accumulating the formation period; developing the mature period and extending the expanding period.
