The component and development of high performance liquid chromatographic（HPLC） instrument is introduced first in this paper. Afterward the article illustrate principally the management and maintenance of HPLC instrument which includes mainly pump system, column and detector part to give the suggestion and experience respectively to other HPLC analysts.
