An Interpretation of Cultural Security

文化安全是一个包含着多层次和多种意义的哲学范畴,是指对文化主体生存权利、生存方式、文化成果的认同、尊重和保护,是对人类文化生存、发展水平和进步程度的一种反映,是指作为文化核心的价值观念的合法生存和合理发展。在狭义范围内,文化安全与国家利益是密不可分的,是对国家利益和文化主权的维护。

Cultural security is a philosophical category with different meanings at different levels. Cultural security means the acknowledgement, respect and protection of the survival right and mode, cultural products and its value for the cultural subjects. Cultural security is a reflection of the extent and level of the cultural survival, development and advancement of mankind, which reflects the legal existence and rational development of the core value of culture. In a narrow sense, cultural security is closely related to the national interest and aims at the maintenance of the state interest and cultural sovereignty.
