全球化进程的推进使全球文化为全球资本主义商品化实践所主导成为现实,文化安全问题的根源在于市场力量深化导致的不平等。西方文化或美国文化的这种全球主导不可避免地对其他国家的文化带来威胁。文化霸权的言论和市场价值观的普世原则使作为全球文化主导的西方文化客观地对其他文化造成现实威胁,而全球文化的同质化倾向又对本土文化造成心理上的威胁,东西方国家间强弱势文化差别给各国带来不同层次的安全需求。

Globalization makes it a fact that global culture is dominated by the global capitalist commercialization. The origin of cultural security lies in the inequality caused by the market power. The global dominance of Western culture or American culture inevitably threats the cultural survival of other countries. Cultural discourse of hegemony and the universal principle of market values render the dominant Western culture an actual threat to the survival of other cultures. The homogeneous trend of global culture is also a psychological threat to the local culture. The differences in cultural influence between the West and the East render different countries different demands for cultural security.
