On Toulmin's Ideals of Natural Order

西方科学哲学历史学派的主要代表人物之一图尔明在他20世纪60年代初出版的《预见与理解》中,基于维特根斯坦的范式思想提出自然秩序理想的概念,并提出科学进步是以自然秩序理想为轴心的,科学概念在不断变化的智力和社会环境中持续进化的思想。

Foresight and Understanding by Toulmin was published in the early 20th century. In virtue of Wittgenstein＇s notion of paradigm, Toulmin put forth the conception of ideals of natural order. He also argued that the development of science was a persistent evolution of scientific conception based on an ideal of natural order in the changing intellectual and social settings.
