摘要 帕特里克·加尔特曼曾在库尔理工大学技术与经济学院学习结构工程和建筑学。目前,他是康策特/布龙齐尼/加尔特曼公司设置在库尔的结构工程事务所的合伙人之一。在建造自己的住宅时,加尔特曼既是建筑师,同时又是结构工程师。他为这座建筑开发了独特的隔热混凝土,他用精细泡沫玻璃代替了普通隔热混凝土(高强陶粒混凝土)里的沙子。这种新型的超轻建筑材料(1050kg/m^3)有很多优点,使他只用一种建材就有可能建造出结实的住宅,无需任何连接件。 Patrick Gartmann studied structural engineering and architecture at the University of Applied Sciences HTW in Chur. Today he is partner in the structural engineering office Conzett Bronzini Gartmann in Chur. In building his own house, Gartmann was the structural engineer and the architect at the same time. He developed his own insulating concrete for this building. He substituted the sand of a normal insulating concrete (Leca concrete) with fine glass foam. The advantage of this new very tight building material (1050 kilograms per cubic meter) was the possibility of constructing a massive house with one single building material and no joints. Especially in the cold climate the construction allows penetrations of the building construction and ductile volumes.
