摘要
Cr4+YAG用于连续NdYAG激光器被动调Q,激光横模结构和纵模结构以及激光泵浦速率起伏等是引起调Q不稳定的重要因素,运用一定的技术可以使调Q稳定性得到根本性改善;
It is reported that laser transversal and longitudinal mode structure as well as other factors such as pumping rate disturbance, causes instability of the output of a cw Nd∶YAG laser passively Q switched with Cr 4+ ∶YAG. Effectual methods of improving stability are given and a stability better than 5% is gotten. It is suggested that the thermal effect of Cr 4+ ∶YAG and damage to optical coating should be taken into account when increasing the output power of the Q switched cw laser.
