A review was given on new process of thermoplastic composites--fiber hy- bridization. Fibers of thermoplastic resin can be hybridized with reinforcing fibers, and 2-D fabric and 3-D near net structure can be woven with the hybrid yarns, and it is the advanced technology which could improve damage tolerance and decrease the costs.
