Based on Richard Rogers＇ typical urban and architectural works, the article made an analysis of the design concept for using natural resources, and practice in the layer of city and buildings. It had been summarized the theory and practice of his works in three aspects, the balance of architectural environment, dispose of the architectural space and detail, and application of appropriate technology and building material.
