摘要
2006年,英语的冲击下,新闻报道和网络论坛上出现了“××门”“繁殖”现象,目前仍然有增无减。与很多新生事物一样,“××门”的产生、发展、变异和流行与同时期的社会现状、社会心态以及社会价值取向不可分割。本文基于网络语料,从社会语言学角度来诠释这一现象,试图揭示语言接触和变异与社会心态之间的密切关系,以期更全面了解语言与社会共变的规律。
The proliferation of ＂gates＂ in China ensues from the original Watergate scandal of the United States in 1970s, to include such ＂conspiracies＂ as ＂Bungate＂, ＂Tongxugate＇, ＂Chipgate＇, etc. The present article aims to study the phenomenon from a sociolinguistic perspective, which is then found to strongly correlate with language contact, social values, economy, culture and ideology.
