A Comparative Study of the Sino-India and Sino-Russia Relations from 1949 to 1962——An Analysis on the Inclination and Essence of Russian Policy during the Sino^India Boundary Conflictions

1949～1962年的苏中苏印关系可谓“三十年河东,三十年河西”。究其根本原因,随着中苏同盟在亚洲合作的失败,苏联势必寻求一个既能替代中国以确保苏联在亚洲的影响,又可抵制中国的亚洲大国,印度无疑成为苏联的最佳选择,而中印边界冲突正好为苏联亲印抑华政策的实施提供了一个绝佳的机会。

The relations of Sino-Russia and Sino-India from 1949 to 1962 were a changeful process. The chief causes of that are as follows： With the failure of cooperation of Sino-Russian Union, the later was urgent to find out a replacement to insure its influences in Asia and, a country rejecting Chinese impact; India, was the best choice of Russia for that matter. Then, the boundary conflicts between India and China provided with Russia a good chance to implement its prone-India and restraining-China policy.
