Antibacterial peptides are part of the natural immune system of all plants and animals.The defensin, neutrophil cathelicidins,and respiratory surfactant-associated anionic peptides （SAAPs）of ovine antibacterial peptide are summarized,and possible applications for these peptides are looked at. And this paper gives an analysis into the existing problems in the process of ovine antibacterial peptides study.
