The early embryonic development of Rana versabilis was studied at thewater temperature of 20-24℃. The course, from its fertilized egg to operculum completely closed, may be divided into 25 stages, which totally take about 226. 4 hours.Their external morphological characteristics in various stages were similar to otherspecies of Ranidea. But a few specific characterstics in the embryonic development wereshown in this paper.
