西藏岩画与苯教仪轨文献研究

Tibetan Rock-paintings and the Document Research of Bongboism Religious Practices

与西藏岩画联系最为密切的文献资料应该是敦煌古藏文苯教写卷,这些写卷中记载的苯教传说与仪轨内容,隐晦而曲折地反映了早期羌人西迁、开发藏北草原(藏语“羌塘”)的历史过程;而西藏岩画则以生动而写实的画面,直接表现了羌人西迁及开拓“羌塘”的壮举。研究西藏岩画,不能不特别涉及到苯教仪轨文献的研究。

The documents to be closely related to the Tibetan rock-paintings are the Tibetan Bongboism scriptures from Dunhuang. The scriptures contain the legends and religious practices of Bongboism. It also gives an obscure description of the migration of Qiang people to the west in the old time, and the historical process of Qiangtang Grasslands exploitation. However, the Tibetan rock-paintings demonstrate the two historical events with more vivid and realistic pictures. Thus, to study the Tibetan rock-paintings involves the document research of Bongboism Religious Practices.
