Rhetorical Criticism in America:Paradigms and Theories

美国修辞批评的历史大致分为传统范式阶段和多元范式阶段。传统范式阶段的修辞批评主要是新亚里士多德模式。多元范式阶段的修辞批评包括众多模式,如心理批评模式、戏剧主义批评模式、幻想主题批评模式、社会运动批评模式、体裁批评模式、女权主义批评模式、意识形态批评模式等。对这些批评模式的理论基础进行了论述。

Rhetorical criticism in America has gone through two phases, i.e. the traditional- paradigm phase and the multi - paradigm phase. The former is mainly dominated by the Neo - Aristotelian approach and the latter embraces various approaches such as psychological approach, dramatic approach, fantasy theme approach, social movement approach, generic approach, feminist approach, ideological approach etc. This paper sketches out the theories underpinning these approaches.
