The theory of the Chinese Marxist religious adjustment is a kind of theory by which the CCP combines Marxist religious views with actual religious situation of China, which explains the relevance of religion to the socialist society, the meaning and ways to allow adjustment between religion and socialist society. It is necessary and possible that religion adjusts to the socialist society, Religion should actively adjust to the socialist society, and CCP and the government should actively guide religion. This kind of adjustment is different. The adjustment of religion to the socialist society is all embracing which covers all aspects of politics, economy, culture and society. The ways of guiding adjustment is fully implementing the CCP＇ s doctrine of freedom of religion, administering the religious issues in accordance with relevant laws, and insisting on the principle of independence and initiatives.
