Mr Sun Zhong-shan is the pioneer of Chinese democratic revolution. He engaged in the revolution for nearly 40 years and experienced a lot of hardships. The confrontation in London was his turning point to the development of his revolutionary idea .The article analysed the proceduce of the confrontation, elaborated its social impact on and its active role in the development of revolutionary idea of Sun- Zhongshan.
