摘要 正常人体内,木糖醇为肝脏葡萄糖醛酸—木酮糖循环的糖代谢中间体,其浓度甚微,不会造成脏器损害。外源性木糖醇进入体内后经不同途径代谢成尿酸和草酸,二者均经肾脏排泄,故短时大量或长时间应用木糖醇可使血清尿酸、草酸水平骤然或缓慢升高,二者超出生理饱和度后均易形成结晶沉积到肾脏导致肾损害,甚而急性肾功能衰竭致死。 Xylitol is a normal intermediate in the liver glucuronate-xylulose cycle. When the level of plasma xylitol is very low, it would not hurt the organ. Exogenous xylitol is metabolized into uric acid and oxalic acid in the body through different pathways. Both of them are renal excretion. Accordingly, xylitol enter into the body either in short time or in long time could suddenly or slowly increase the level of uric acid and oxalic acid in plasma. When the concentrations exceed the physiological saturation, they could form amounts of crystals depositing in kidney and damage it or even cause acute renal failure ending in death.
