摘要
通过分析交通事件条件下当事车辆瞬时速度的变化特征,设计了1种基于GPS的高速公路交通事件自动检测算法,并对采样时间间隔的确定、检测阈值的确定、持续性检测时间的设定与报警机制设计等方法进行了研究,分别利用软件模拟数据和实测模拟数据对算法的有效性与可移植性进行了检验。试验结果表明该算法对于交通事件具有良好的检测性能。
The characteristics of the variance of the instantaneous velocity for the incident vehicle were analyzed, and an algorithm of automated incident detection (AID) for freeway based on GPS was designed. A series of relative issues were also studied, including choice of sampling intervals, determination of detection thresholds, durative detection time and design of the alarm mechanism, etc. The validity and transplantability of the proposed AID algorithm were tested with field data and simulated data. The test results show that the algorithm can be used to detect traffic incidents.
