摘要
评价理论把语言表达分为态度、介入、分级三个子系统。媒介素养的四种信息形式正好分别对应了评价理论子系统“态度”范畴。媒介素养教育的内容范畴、媒介代理人、媒介受众可以从“介入”子系统的研究成果中找到对应支持;“分级”系统贯穿于整个媒介信息和媒介素养教育内容。因此,通过对体现态度、介入和分级的语言资源的分析,可以使读者增强敏感度,更好地把握媒介所传播的信息。
Media literacy is generally regarded as the ability to acquire, analyze, communicate and use all forms of media message. The article begins with a general introduction to appraisal theory, followed by an argument that appraisal theory is relevant to media literacy. Finally it takes an example to demonstrate the contributions that appraisal theory makes to media literacy by means of teaching English from news or magazines.
