摘要
在反常色散的双折射光纤中传输的亮孤子对之间由于耦合周期性地交换能量,一个亮孤子可把能量完全传给另一个亮孤子,因此双折射光纤可作亮孤子开关。本文讨论了椭圆角为35°的双折射光纤的开关条件。发现脉冲只有以特定的极化角入射才有开关现象产生,而且建立了光纤长度与孤子对相差、初始能量差的解析关系.所得结论严格地适用于椭圆角为35°的双折射光纤开关,但当椭圆角与35°非常接近时,结论仍然很好地成立.
Bright soliton pairs propagating in the birefringent fiber with the anomalous dispersion exchange the energy periodically by the couple between them. The energy of one bright soliton may be transformed to another, so the birefringent fiber can be used to make the optical switching.We also discuss the switching condition for the birefringent fiber with tile ellipticity angle 35°, finding switching phenomenon only appears when the pulse is input with a special polarization angle, and presenting the formula which links the length of the fiber, difference of phase and initial relative energy difference between the soliton pairs. These results are rigorously fit to the fiber with the elipticity angle 35°but still well hold for the fiber which the ellipticity angle close to 35°.
